The Farmer Providers staff right here at Georgia Organics is happy to formally introduce the farmers within the 2022-2024 Accelerator cohort!

The Georgia Organics Accelerator Program combines skilled teaching with tailor-made on-farm investments to develop the vitality and resiliency of Georgia farms and enhance the standard of life for farmers.  

The seven farms chosen for the 2022-2024 cohort are all doing unbelievable work to develop their farm merchandise and companies, sustainably and organically. Every farm was chosen primarily based on their proposed utilization of this system, which incorporates figuring out three focus targets and one in-hand useful resource that the farms work in direction of reaching and finishing by the top of this system. 

The Farmer Providers staff is working intently with every farm to develop their targets and in-hand useful resource, and to help them over the subsequent two years as they execute their Accelerator plan. We have now a strong listing of coaches that will probably be working hand-in-hand with the farmers to supply technical help, steerage, and coaching on an unlimited array of subjects that assist them with long-term farm enterprise planning. In-hand assets can appear to be a Soil Fertility plan, a Meals Security plan, a Labor plan, a Transition plan, and extra!  

The coaches can even advise farmers on learn how to maximize their Accelerator funding for his or her strategic capital investments. This funding may be utilized in direction of farm bills — together with on-farm infrastructure, labor, healthcare, and advertising.
